and it always ends up being my favourite!!

I love the grungy look of the words (writing in the background is (part) of my fav poem -

How Do I love thee) and the primitive look of the poppies.

Um I not too sure what flower this is, so I have just titled it Abstract Flower. Photo taken with my phone, so doesn't capture all of the texture in the background or the true colours.

Frida Kahlo

Yes she has been painted a million times, but I couldn't help myself and wanted to be the million and oneth (not a word and i dont care) to paint her. She is such a striking beauty - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frida_Kahlo and i hope that I captured some of that with my 12 inches x 12 inches painting -

Photo taken at night, so of course colours are not as true. Painting will be framed in a black frame :-) and is for sale.

Girl in the Garden

Girl In the Garden - 39 inches wide x 32 inches high. to be framed in a gold frame and is painted on wood (my new favourite medium). Butterflies have gold leaf on them, so dont photograph very well.

Flowers of Pink and Pearl - 36 inch x 24 inch. Taken me 6 months to finish, but finally done!! For an exhibition at our local Westpac Bank. Yes these beads are all hand stitched into the canvas, hence why it has taken 6 months. I want to do another, but this time have it more grungier and a little less pretty.
