First painting for 2014

I'm not really one for chatting too much on here about my personal

life or circumstances. I'd much rather leave my art to speak for itself.

2013 was not a bad year... it had it's fair shares of ups and downs

but I think that is a common thing for most people. You need the downs

to make the up's so much better.

Anyway on to 2014

and let's hope that it brings plenty 

more of those ups for all of us.

So I obviously love all things Frida and now I'm also a little obsessed with Alice in Wonderland... So my crazy brain thought, "well why not combine the two"... so here is what I came up with.

Latest Painting - Titled "T"

I wish I had the time to paint all day

every day... but alas being a full time

office worker and a mum of two 

cherubs, just doesn't allow much time

to get my hands dirty with paint.

But the time that I do get spare, 

I just want to paint beautiful things.

Sometimes I manage this, sometimes not.

This time I think I have created a beautiful Angel. 

So I am pleased.

She is titled simply

Sisters :-)

this latest painting could almost be about my sister and I. My sister has red hair and when I was young had very blonde hair (now brown). But it is a commission for a lovely lady who has two beautiful cherubs - one blonde and one a red head. For privacy reasons, I will not post a picture of her girls and of course this is not an exact portrait of the girls, rather my interpretation or as somebody once said - Nat-ifying (making something my own).
