We have an Exhibition in Tom Price in a few weeks time with the theme "Poetry of the Land". So gaining up all my courage, here is my piece (I think) for this Exhibition. I might do another one yet and change it slightly, not sure. Or do two pieces and put two in the Exhibition.
Any ideas on a name???? I'd love some advice. All I can think of at the mo is misty sky??? A little boring i think. Size is 24 inc x 30.
This also fits the theme for this weeks MMM which is "Show us what you love to do" which is paint of course :-)
Beautiful work! Good luck with your exhibition. x

Nat, your painting is gorgeous! I hope you do another one and enter that one too! My first thought when you asked about a name was "Serenity", but I think I like Barb's "Tall Poppies" better. Diane
ReplyDeleteI do like the title Tall Poppies!! Specially since the Tall Poppy Syndrome seems to be very present here in Australia (albeit sadly I think!)... I was just coming to say that I don't think the painting is boring at all. I really like it!
ReplyDeleteI think Tall Poppies is perfect!
Good luck with the exhibition. I love the simplicity of the piece!
ReplyDeletethis is a lovely piece Nat - the colours suggest simplicity however there is complexity in the monocromatic detailing. well done
