GPP Street Team - Crusade No. 9 - What's that smell?
The lastest challenge of Michelle Ward's Street Team is titled - "What's that smell". Our challenge is to list what scent we use to get into the 'zone'. The creative zone that is.
I love to burn essential oils. My favourite combination is Lavender and Orange. It is such a sweet and relaxing smell. A perfect combination for creating!! IMO anyway.
In the pic above, I have put my burner on top of my craft desk, but normally it sits on top of my filing cabinet next to my desk. I didn't think it'd be a very exciting pic if I included my boring old metal filing cabinet, so instead I included a pic of my messy old craft desk. LOL. At least you can see the desk at the moment. Sort of cleaned it up for this pic.

natalie - thanks for joining in the crusade by showing and telling us about your studio scent. i'm laughing - thinking you cleaned your desk to take a photo....there's a challenge - having a clean desk every week :)
ReplyDeleteGreat, your desk is very tidy, and I love oils. ;) Thanks for sharing. ;)
ReplyDeleteNat I am giggling here - and wondering, how does anyone work on a white desk??? You must me cleaner than I am. As to the oils - I love both of those and had never thought to combine them. Will do so today. Thanks for the idea.
ReplyDeletealways interesting to find out what others use to stimulate the creative process...
ReplyDeleteand oooh.. I love to look at other peoples desks... :O)
I always have a fresh start with the clean desk.... but it sure doesn't last very long! LoL! I am wondering... how do you BURN essential oils? I'm interested in this!
ReplyDeleteYes! I love those! they smell so yummy, and can stink up the whole house (in a good way!)!
ReplyDeletewhat a yummy combination of smells I am going to have to try that.
ReplyDeleteThis is great; I must try it because I usually burn candles but seeing your incense burner has me intrigued.
