Well what a challenge this colour combination is. Pink & orange! Hmmm not something I would normally put together, me being totally challenged at combining colours and all.
So this ATC has been made for a Round Robin Swap and I would say that I'm not overly happy with it, but still, I will send it, as I think it's the best I can come up with, with that colour combo.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
i have been wondering what i was going to do with this theme but i must say, this looks really funky! i love how you have chosen this image in the house and given the house wings.

Thanks Sulea for your lovely comment. I was very unsure about whether this was up to standard or not.
ReplyDeleteOh Nat this is fabulous! I too have been wondering about this one. Not a cominatin I enjoy working with. Well done!
ReplyDeleteBTW I have been running very late with mailings and your ATC will go in the mail today.
Thanks Julie. Yes a hard combo and I didn't want to do the girly kind of orange/pink thing, as I dont do that too well.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of the 'holy pictures' that you see in nearly every house in Ireland - except for the funky pink/orange colour combo - love it. I find the iconic religious pics work really well with funk.
ReplyDeleteMy Nana had a couple of scary ones black/white ones, I used to think the Devil was coming to get me LOL
Carmel
ReplyDeleteyou have the best sense of humour. I love it! You crack me up all the time. I loved hearing your stories on Fri about what's been happening while you've been delivering the Census. I always think Irish & Scottish make every story funny. Look at Billy Connolly! Sorry, probably didn't feel funny at the time to you, but at least you can laugh afterwards.
Big hugs
Nat
I think you have done a great job with this color combo Nat. I love all your art as you know. And this one is no exception.
ReplyDeleteAnd you are always up to standard. Everything you create is detailed and special. I treasure everything you have ever made for me xxxx
ReplyDeleteThks Dot, likewise.
