Mothers Day Cards

Have been working on cards again tonight and here's what I've had a play with.

Stamped Image is coloured with oil pastels and the background is made with strips of masking tape ripped and randomly placed onto cardstock and then coloured over with oil pastels again. Then finished off by swiping the tape with black stazon ink.

I've made variations on this card, but I like these colours the best.

Hope you're all having a wonderful week.

  3. This is an amazing card, Nat. I love orange... one of my favourite colours. The black you have applied on the edges is really clever and the texture you have achieved!

  5. Gorgeous Nat, and I had not thought of using oil pastels with the masking tape - just gorgeous. Do you spray with fixative afterwards? Or is is ok?
